Joy!

Joy, it's something we all love to feel, right? I know I sure do! If you're saved, you know that we can always have that joy, it's up to us to focus on it instead of the trial, test or temptation that we're facing! I know it can be extremely hard to focus on, but sometimes we just need to in order to get through whatever it is we are facing!

The Lord wants us to rejoice, no matter what is going on. Philipians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice" No matter what you're going through, He wants you to rejoice and praise Him for everything. Sometimes we don't understand why we're going through what we are, but God knows why and He will never let us down, He just wants us to call upon Him!
John 16:24 "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." God knows what you need, all He want you to do is ask, ask and you shall receive! It may not be immediately, but as long as it's something that you need, He will provide, as long as you trust Him! There is one thing you have to remember, God is NOT a genie, and He will NOT give you something that He knows will just hurt you in the long run.
All the joy you need is in the Lord, He's all that you'll ever need, even when you feel all alone He is there with you! There is another thing you should remember, everything you do, do it with a joyful heart and mean it with all of your heart! Proverbs 17:22 "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." With a joyful heart it's like medicine, they say laughter is the best kind right? Wrong, a joyful heart is! If your heart is not joyful in the things you do, it will bring you down and make you bitter.
John 16:
22 "And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you." You may feel sorrow now, but God will see you again, when you're ready to lean on Him and your heart will start to rejoice again and no man can bring you down as long as you depend on God to give you that joy instead of people.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, man will change, either for good or for bad but God never will, He is the same yesterday, today and forever more. What He said yesterday He still means today and will mean tomorrow, God has never broken a promise and He won't start just because of something that you did or something that you are going through. We are all sinners and we all make mistakes, but He knew that when He sent Jesus down to earth to die on the cross for us, so that we have that ever lasting grace! John 3:16-18
Nothing is too big for our Savior and there will be nothing that will ever be too big! He loves you just like He loves me and no matter what sin we commit, as long as we repent, He will forgive us and help us to do what we need to in order to come closer to Him!
